Be prepared to be amazed!! This month we have Stacey Young as our Guest Designer. Stacey’s work is beautiful and completely original. She works with textures, layers, and mixed media like no one else I’ve seen.  The details she places on her pages are fabulous. You could stare at her layouts for hours and constantly find interesting tidbits and techniques!

Here is what Stacey  has to say about herself:

My name is Stacey Young, I live in sunny QLD, Australia with my
husband of 8 years and our 3 little boys, Cooper, Kobi and baby Mason.
I have been scrapbooking for the best part of 7 years now.  I am
totally addicted to it and I just love to create and get my hands
messy!  My creations are always full to the brim with paint, texture
and embellishments.  I love colour, the brighter the better:)  I am
currently on Design Teams for Prima Marketing, The Color Room, My
Little Bit Of Whimsy and Scrap the Boys.  Thank you so much Webster's
for allowing me to guest design for you, your products are always
amazing:)

Stacey worked with the All About Me, Let’s Celebrate and Country Estate lines for her projects this month. Check these out!

Aren't those just fabulous??? She did amazing things with the collections!!

This month, the DT had the pleasure of lifting Stacey’s work. Here are the two projects that we drew inspiration from:

And here are the projects the team came up with:

Stacey: I was inspired by Stacey's use of layers and textures! I added the ribbon, heart and hand cut elements to replicate her style. The hemp was a final touch that I see Stacey use a lot! Thanks for the amazing inspiration!

Larissa: I absolutely adore Stacey´s style - so full of energy, texture, colors and happiness. I scraplifted her page "Fun. Play. Be" and have used the same color scheme, some chipboards, frames and tried to reproduce the same happy atmosphere. Thanks for the inspiration, Stacey - your work is amazing!!!!"

Emma: I am so happy for Stacey, congratulations on your GDT! I have long admired Stacey's work andhow she uses colour and layers is so inspirational. I jumped at the chance to lift Stacey's work and chose to stick closely to the original....even cracking open the Gesso! Thank you for allowing me to find my 'inner artist' Stacey :)

Laura:I was inspired by Stacey's layout with the fun clouds and her title in black. I created this layout with the Let's Celebrate line and my mom playing with her grandkids over the summer! I had fun making the clouds and sun and love all the bright colors in this line!

Iris: I love how Stacey is able to fill up her entire page with layers and layers of beautiful elements yet still maintain balance and focus. That was my inspiration for this layout. Thank you Stacey for the inspiration!

Emeline: Stacy's use of mediums is absolutely inspiring and artistically refreshing. Thank you for your creative inspiration!

Julie: I LOVE Stacey's use of layering, lots and lots of layers, one upon the other and that was the inspiration for my layout Just Fly. Stacey your work is very inspiring, thanks so much!

Gabi: I just love Stacey's style, she does a beautiful job of layering her papers and I was intregued by her use of kitchen twine and paper lace in embellishing her work so I used these design elements in making up my card. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work Stacey! xx

Mitsue:I am totally in love with Stacey's style. Always amazed with her layering, texturing and clustering technique, it is such a beautiful piece of art!

Jaz: Stacey's work is such an inspiration . She has so much lovely stuffs going on in her pages. I am especially drawn in by her great design on both her card and layout, particularly, the use of doilies and the brown burlap string to frame the photo ;)

Anabelle: Stacey's work just amazes me! She is the queen of layering. I chose to lift her card and added lots of hand cut elements, just like she did. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration!

Tomoko: It was such a pleasure to scrap lift Stacey's work. I have loved Stacey's work for a long time now. Her use of paint and embellishments are just amazing!!!! Love all the dimension and texture in her creations. Thank you so much for the inspiration!!

So, I hope you are as inspired as we were!!

Thanks for sharing your talent with us, Stacey! Love your creations.
