We are so excited to be welcoming our November Guest Designer, Ashley Cannon Newell. Ashley is a fabulous card designer who has a beautiful and elegant style. She uses clean lines and her touches of embellishments are always the perfect accents.

Here is what Ashley has to say about herself:

I'm Ashley and I have a passion for paper crafting, photography, fashion, and trying new recipes in the kitchen. I have always been interested in the arts since I can remember. I started my first scrapbook in high school and that was long before any industry focused products were available. I started blogging in 2008 after discovering the paper crafting online world. Currently, I design for Papertrey Ink and also run a challenge-based eZine. When I'm not in my studio, you can find me at work (yep, gotta day job), photographing a wedding, surfing the Internet, or watching a Lifetime movie.

We sent Ashley our Royal Christmas and Park Drive lines. They were perfect for her classy style. Just look at what she created!

Aren't those amazing?? She really did a fabulous job!

As always, the design team had the opportunity to create in Ashley's style. These are the projects that we used as an inspiration.

And here are the projects we came up with.

Anabelle:  I chose Ashley's "Celebrate"card as my inspiration. I decided to add the image of the gifts in place of the three blocks of paper and I used flowers instead of stamped images. I have long been a fan of Ashley's beautiful designs and am thrilled to have her with us this month.

Emeline: I simply adore Ashley's use of fresh colors on her projects. Her cards always look polished and crisp! Here, I created a mini envelope book. I made use of white envelopes are "inner pages" and use them as slots for my photos.

Gabi: A dear couple of friends of ours are celebrating their 25th anniversary so I thought I would use Ashleys cute 'Celebrate' card as inspiration. I really like the wider horizontal design of the card (perfect shape for adding a GC inside the card). I liked the way she also tied her ribbon vertically along the right side of the card, I immitated that with my kitchen twine. Thanks for the beautiful inspiration Ashley! xo

Jamie: I absolutely LOVE Ashley's style! I fell in love with her tin covered in all the hearts and was inspired to use hearts for my card! Thanks for sharing your talent with us Ashley!

Geri: Ahsley`s style is so beautiful, neat and perfect. I was inspired by her "Happy Birthday" card by the gorgeous arrangement of her embellishments and that beautiful bow. Thank you, Ahsley, for the inspiration!

Emma: I was inspired by all of Ashley's gorgeous work, in particular the "Happy Birthday" card and altered tin. I love her elegant layering and used butterflies instead of hearts to mimic the altered tin. Thank you so much for the inspiration and congratulations on GDT this month, Ashley!

Iris: Ashley'ss designs are stunning. Just looking at her creations made me want to come up with smaller versions of her cards and this inspired me to create a batch of simple thanks you cards.

Are you ready to run out and make some cards now??? I know you are as inspired by Ashley's talent as we were!

You just might want to get your cardmaking groove on, afterall the holidays are right around the corner. AND, you never know what kind of prizes might be involved.....(Hint, Hint, stay tuned for more information!)

Thanks so much for joining us this month, Ashley! You are a true talent and did wonderful things with Webster's products.

All the best,
