This month we are excited to introduce you to an amazing designer, Ginger Williams.

Ginger has a beautiful style and does fabulous things with patterned paper. The details she adds  make her pages bright, fun and whimsical. I am sure you are going to fall in love with her projects!

Here is what Ginger has to say about herself.

Hi! I'm Ginger Williams from the Houston area of TX. I'm the mother of 3 rowdy, rough and tumble, amazing boys and one sweet, tiny, and loving baby girl. I'm lucky to be the wife of my best friend, an avid photographer, and a desperately addicted scrapbooker. I started scrapbooking back in 1996 while I was still is high school. Now I scrapbook pretty much daily!

My scrabooking style is linear and layered. I adore texture, small details, and bright colors. Small geometric or striped patterns are my favorite paper designs. I love straight lines and my circle cutters and circle punches, and die cut machines get a lot of work too! I also love bold titles, and any paper in my favorite color--orange! I love to make home decor with my scrapbook supplies and I also make cards, gift items, and design sketches.

As for my life outside scrapbooking, I love to read, quilt, surf, watch old musicals, and listen to oldies rock n' roll and country music. I volunteer at my church, at my boy's school, and with the Cub Scouts. I also do a little photography on the side--mostly weddings and families.

I am very honored and excited to be a guest designer this month and hope I can pass along my love for awesome Webster's Pages products I was able to play with!

We sent Ginger the Once Upon a Halloween and Game On lines. And she really hit the ball out of the park with them. Check out these adorable projects and see what Ginger has to say about them.

I just adore Halloween and so I was super excited when I was invited to design with the Once Upon A Halloween line! I just loved the colors and patterns in the papers, especially the clean and simple papers as I'm more of a clean and simple girl myself.  I thought they would be perfect for some photos I've been saving from carving our pumpkins last year. My photos had a lot of busy colors so I turned them black and white to avoid clashes. I left their glowing pumpkins in color though as they were the focus of the layout.

I used my Cricut and some punches to cut out pumpkins, bats, and various shapes as embellishments and then I added some texture to various pieces by dry embossing them. I also used my Cricut to cut part of my title and paired that with the really beautiful alphabet stickers from the Once Upon A Halloween line. I love the elegant script that these stickers have, they really added a lot to my layout. I finished off my layout with a few touches of baker's twine and a couple of strips of Washi tape from my stash.
After finishing my layout I used some of my scraps to create a couple of fun Halloween cards. I was inspired by the very fun sayings on the title cards in the Once Upon A Halloween line. I used two of them as sentiments on my cards with layers of scraps underneath. To finish off my cards I added a die cut monsters to each.

As the mom of three boys I was immediately drawn to the Game On line. It is perfect for capturing their energy and fun loving side. I used it to scrapbook a happy moment from my middle son's 8th birthday party. We were at a local amusement house that happened to have a couple of rides. We gathered all his friends and family and together (including the grandparents) and we all drove the bummer cars. It was such fun and really became the highlight of his birthday party.
To avoid making the layout too busy I again converted my photos to black and white and printed them as 3x2s. I cut out a few bumper cars and stars with my Cricut and used them as embellishments on my page. Like I said earlier, I really adore the font on the Webster's Pages alphabet stickers and used them to make the title.
I also used the Game On Collection to make a matching birthday card. I used lots of embossing for extra texture and a bit of baker's twine for a touch of softness. The cupcakes are from one of my punches.
Thanks so much for having me guest design this month! It has been such fun!

I'm sure you are as inspired as we are! Aren't those projects fabulous?
Here are some other projects that Ginger has created. Several DT members used them as inspiration for their own layouts.

Diana: I was inspired by the cluster in the upper right corner of the Quilt layout. Thanks for the inspiration!

Emma: I was inspired by the circular design of Ginger’s ‘Swim like a fish layout’ and the word strips of ‘Surfing Cousins’. I tried to used bright colours as all the sample pages are very funky too. Thank you so much for the inspiration and congratulations on being this months guest designer Ginger!

Jamie H.:I love Ginger's work and was so inspired by her use of colour and great mix of patterned papers!

Stacey: I love Ginger's whimsical style and how she plays with paper. She adds little, varied details that make her layouts pop. I decided to add some fun by placing the baskets and bird on my layout. I also chose to show the bicycle to convey the idea of playfulness. Thanks for the inspiration Ginger.

Anabelle: I adore Ginger's pages and used several elements from her Surfing Cousins layout on here - the circles behind the photos, the cluster at the bottom and the strips along the top and bottom of the page. Thanks so much for the wonderful inspiration, Ginger! Congrats!

As you can see, we were really inspired! We'd love to see what you can do. If you created a lift of one of Ginger's pages share it in the gallery and link it up here.

Thank you so much, Ginger for your hard work and inspiration this month!

All the best,
