OK girls, here is a fantastic tutorial that I discovered form an amazing artist by the name of Maria. She kindly allowed me to post this tutorial here, and I have tweaked it and added hints and suggestions for you as your create. Thank you so much Maria.
So, this is what you will need:
6 petal flower punch
Black Versa Cube or other brand
Toothpicks
Patterned Paper or Vellum
Glue
Scissors

1. Punch out three flowers using a 6-petal flower punch. I have used Marvy Uchida Punches, I love the fact that they are so solid and last for ages, but any 6-petal flower punch will do. Don't forget you can also use a die-cutting machine to cut your flowers. Once they have been punched, fold them along the petal lines as shown.
**Please Note** I have turned one flower over so you can see the fold lines.
2. On the first flower, cut a slit down the side of one petal to the center (do not cut off any petals on this one). On the second flower, cut off two petals, and on the third one cut off two petals. I love to ink the petals as it gives them more definition and color.
3. Put a little glue onto one of the petals of each of the three flowers and glue one petal over the other as shown. You will have to curl the petals inwards to do this.
See how your four petal flower now has become a three petal cone........
I am holding the petal down for the glue to set.
4. Snip off the bottom point of your four and three petal flowers so that your flowers won’t be bulky.
**Note** Don't snip the bottom of the biggest flower, as that is your base, and you have to put glue into it.
5. Now you will have the first three outside layers of your rose.

6. Now Maria suggested you use a toothpick which I found was the easiest way to get a beautiful curl. You can use anything cylindrical like the bottom of a paint brush or pin depending on how tight you want that curl.
7. Put a little glue into the biggest flower and insert the 4 petal flower into it. Repeat this process and insert the 3 petal flower into it. Your rose will now look like this.
Now you are ready to make two inside petal layers.
9. For the second-to-the-last layer, take your 2-petal piece and curl the petals back with the toothpick like you did with the big petals. Wrap it around itself in the shape of an ice cream cone. Leave it a little loose because you are going to be inserting the final petal in the middle. Cut off the bottom point.

10. For the final inside petal, take the one petal piece and curl back the edge, then wrap it around itself tightly. I found this frustrating at first, but after making a few roses, you will soon get the hang of it.

11. Snip off the edge, and insert and adhere it into the 2-petal piece you just completed. Now you can add these final pieces to the center of your rose, adhering them in place with a dollop of glue. Aren't they beautiful ??

There are so many materials you can use for these flowers. The Webster's Pages Patterned Paper and Vellum are perfect for creating these blooms. The advantage of vellum is that they give you a sheer look. Now imagine custom creating them to go on your Webster's Layouts. Wonderful !!!!!!
So here is my layout ........

and a close up of the finished rose .....

I really hope you enjoyed this tutorial. I hope to come back with more tutorials using Webster's Pages products. Can't wait to see your home made flowers.
Have fun.
