Hi Everyone! Happy New Year! After taking December off, we're back with a new challenge for January. One of the ways I hope to grow as a scrapper this year is to try new techniques and apply them to my cards and pages. So, I thought this would be a fun way to start off the year. So, here's the challenge. Try a technique that is NEW to YOU. This can be anything from creating embellishments to stamping to painting to trying digital. It doesn't have to be a new technique, just something you've never done before. So, here's my project. I've seen lots of those cute flowers that people make with paper spirals. So, I decided to try some.

Except, I think I didn't do it the right way. They came out looking a bit different, but I like them as they are. I used papers from the Postcards from Paris line, holiday trim and a fabric fancy on here.

So, what do you need to do? 1) Create a project, trying a new technique, using Webster's Pages products. 2) Upload it into the gallery by midnight on January 31, 2010. Then, link your creation to this thead. I will add the pages to the January Challenge album. You can view the album by clicking on 'All Albums' then 'January Challenge'. 3)I'll put all of the names in a hat and draw a winner. The winner will receive a Webster's Pages line of his/her choice. I can't wait to see what you come up with! ;) Anabelle

Thanks for playing along! I love your technique!
I tried tearing paper and then backing the open space with a coordinating paper. I can see I need to work on this technique...
