Day 4 of Winter Wonderland - Festive Gift Wrap and Tags by Annabelle and Hilde

Hi Everyone,

Hilde and Anabelle here and we’re sharing our projects using Waiting for Santa today! We know that many of you are busy getting those Christmas gifts wrapped and ready to be put under the tree. So, we decided to give you a bit of help. Our projects will help make those gifts look spectacular!

And what fun would creating be without a little incentive? How about the Webster’s Pages Christmas Paper Collection of your choice? Each Design Team Member will choose one winner! So the more classes you participate in, the more chances you have to win!

Here are the rules:
Create a project based off one of the classes below. You can create one or both. Your projects must include 75% Webster’s Pages products. Upload your project(s) into the gallery with the host and class name in your title. Example: Iris's Dressform Centerpiece Challenge Then link your project in the post below. Create separate posts for each project you create. Projects are due by noon PST, Monday December 13th. Have Questions? Please feel free to leave a comment below.

First, they need to be wrapped. Hilde created this amazing set of gift wrappings to inspire you to use the papers in a unique and fun way.

Supplies:

Waiting for Santa paper

Waiting for Santa vellum

Waiting for Santa stickers

Floral Bouquet Wonderfall

Berry Bouquet

Directions:

Small Package:

  • Wrap the package with paper.
  • Place the border sticker along the bottom.
  • Tie the tinsel trim around the package, top to bottom and make a bow on top of the package.
  • Place a Berry Bouquet with leaves on the front of the package.
  • Add the heart sticker.

Masculine Package:

  • Wrap the package with paper, leaving some extra room at the top.
  • Leave an extra space on top of the package and fold a small piece to create the collar. Use firm tape to hold it together.  Staple it at the front.
  • Use scissors to cut slits in the sides at the top and fold the paper in to create the shoulders.
  • Create the tie using tinsel. Wrap it around the collar and secure it at the bottom with a sticker.

Larger Package:

  • Wrap the package with vellum.
  • Fan fold a piece of the vellum and adhere to the top.
  • Add the bouquet to the top right corner.
  • Adhere the stickers along the bottom.

Beautiful projects, girls! I LOVE the idea of using patterned papers and vellums to wrap packages. With all of Webster's gorgeous papers, you could have one stunning array of pressies! And those tags are just stunning. So much fabulous detailing on such a small area. You guys are awesome!

Those projects are fantastic! I love the way the larger package turned out the best (Gorgeous!!!), but the masculine one is very unique. Loved seeing how you made that....very creative!

Anabelle, your tags are incredible! I love them! Maybe next year, you could host a 12 days of Christmas tag tutorial. You're already halfway there from your examples above! ;-)
