Well I don't know about you but I am soooo ready for some warmer sunshine-filled days! Spring always brings a sense of renewal and starting fresh. I love doing the spring cleaning and putting out some refreshing new decorations around the house. With this in mind I created a "SPRING" banner using the mini 6x6 papers from the Lullaby Lane line. This size paper lends itself so well to smaller projects like these banner pieces. I used some ribbon I had left over from gift packaging to pull them all together. If you don't have the chipboard bases to make banners its a really easy thing to make freehand. Just cut out a pattern for a long tipped triangle. Cut out your papers and you can make an edge decoration (where my scallops are) by using trim or ruffled ribbon or coordinating papers that have been punched in a scallop pattern. Its fast and easy and the look is wonderful! Here are a few pix to get your creative juices flowing.

Remember, you don't have to go and buy something just for this challenge. Just use a little something you have lying around the house.

Trudi's layout is an absolute stunner. I love the hand-cut bird cages, the clever use of white space and the clusters of elements that make this layout classically Webster's Pages. Her tidbits of Everyday Poetry make me want to get creating right this second...you can grab this collection (and several others) over at our website. Thanks, Trudi for inspiring me today!
